Joe Biden, the 47th Vice President of the United States, is now contesting for the 2020 US Presidential elections from the Democratic party along with many other prominent names. In spite of 25 famous politicians, Joe Biden stands tall in terms of both popularity and experience when it comes to public service. While Americans dream of becoming a senator for one term, Biden has successfully served as the Senator of Delaware for over four decades since 1973 till he became the Vice President in 2009. Joe Biden has also worked as the Vice President of the United States for two different terms with Barack Obama as the President. As the VP of the United States, Biden was responsible for implementing crucial policies like Obama Care and worked on issues of drug cartels, and drug trafficking. In his run-up to the 2020 Presidential elections, Biden has announced his plan for a Clean Energy revolution by 2050 and better climate conditions across the United States by the end of his first team.

At the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, 195 countries, including the USA, have agreed to the Paris Climate Agreement under the presidency of Barack Obama. The main aim of the agreement is to maintain the temperature above the pre-industry level and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. USA and China are known as the highest emitters of carbon dioxide.
The Paris Climate Agreement will help these two countries in many ways. However, Trump has been quite livid and vowed to exit the agreement after he assumes the office. As expected on 1st June 2017, Donald Trump announced that the U.S. would cease all its participation from the 2015 Paris Climate change agreement. The effects range from hampering climate change mitigation efforts to the multi-billion dollar car manufacturing companies showing their displeasure about the announcement. General Motors, which is the largest automobile manufacturer in the United States, expressed their concerns as they already invested billions of dollars into reducing the emissions. However, later, they clarified that their stance would be the same even to protect the Climate.
