Donald Trump is known for making some bizarre and outrageous decisions now and then since he took over as the President of the United States. Some of them are - ban on Muslim nations, pulling out of Paris Climate Agreement, Flawed foreign policies, public statements, and tweets, etc. On many occasions, Trump went on to accuse journalists as paid and fake media agencies whenever they wrote against him. All these accusations were made in public from his official Twitter account. The newest target of President Trump and his administration is now against the children.
As a part of safety, security, and governance for the nation, the U.S. Government and Military deploy citizens and soldiers in overseas countries. Children born to these individuals who are working outside of America are automatically considered as U.S. citizens but not any longer. On August 28th, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in a memo said, "it will no longer consider children of U.S. government employees and U.S. armed forces members residing outside the United States as 'residing in the United States' for purposes of acquiring citizenship under INA 320." INA 320 is the statute granting automatic citizenship to the children, provided at least one of the parent resides in the U.S.
Previously, the definition of residency in USCIS used to include children of the U.S. government or U.S. military members currently serving outside the U.S. as automatic citizens. Starting from October 29th, the new change comes into effect, and the memo says the children born to these individuals are no longer considered as 'residing in US.' The new policy also states that - government employees and the U.S. military members serving outside the U.S. are now required to apply for their children's citizenship under INA section 322, which involves a naturalization process. Trump's administration has also decided to deport sick children who are seeking life-saving medical treatment in the United States. After a severe backlash, they are now re-considering the deportation policy.
Joe Biden, the former Vice President, called this as a sinful act any President can ever do. It's the time for us to deport Donald Trump from the White House and elect a person who is experienced and matured to handle the policies of this great country.
