2020 US elections are considered to be the most effective elections in the history of America. It is a fight to bring Donald Trump out of the White House. As many as 25 major candidates from the Democratic party have entered the race for the Presidential nomination. 17 was the previous highest, and with 25, this is the largest set of presidential nominees for any political party post-reform era of American history. The first 2020 Democratic Presidential Primary debate was held yesterday and here are some of the highlights on who excelled the debate: Firstly, to start with, the debate was mainly with Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, 47th Vice President of the United States. Coming to Kamala Harris, she was born on October 20th, 1964. She is a lawyer and politician by profession. She is the present junior United States senator from California. Previously she worked as the Attorney General of California. With just over nine years of public service experience, Kamala Harris has announced that she will run for the President of the United States 2020 for the Democratic nomination. On the other hand, Joe Biden, who was born in 1942, has over five decades of political experience. Biden became the senator of Delaware way back in 1973 and continued winning election after election till 2009 when he had to give it up for the Vice Presidency finally. Joe Biden has a great understanding of how policies work and what kind of policies America needs. Apart from the Senate and Vice Presidency, Joe Biden has headed a lot of other vital roles in his five-decade-long career. He was the “Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee” and also worked as chairman of “Senate Judiciary Committee” where he dealt with issues of drug policy, crime prevention, and civil liberties. His efforts to pass the Violence Against Women Act, and Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act are of no match to anyone. President Barack Obama on multiple occasions lauded Joe Biden as the best Vice President, America has ever had, and the best part is he nowhere near to finish it off. Joe Biden has already been awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom with distinction for his services to the public. With all the above skills that Joe Biden possess, it doesn’t matter if there was a debate or not. Joe Biden, with his vast experience in the public life, is a clear winner on any day and must be the Presidential candidate from the Democratic party. It is only he who can take on President Donald Trump and bring back the glory of America.
