Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton creatively took a jibe at President Trump on Tuesday for his scientific recommendations to handle coronavirus. In his recent White House press briefings, Trump has been consistently corrected by his health officials, starting from the timelines for the vaccine, number of cases to the drugs that can be used to treat the illness. In the past couple of days, Trump went a step further by mentioning specific medicines such as Hydroxychloroquine and Chloroquine as the potential cures for the virus.
Taking this as an opportunity, Clinton trolled Trump from her official Twitter account. She wrote, "Please don't medical advice from a man who looked directly at a solar eclipse," referring TO August 2017 solar eclipse where President Trump briefly looked at the sun without any protective gear before his support staff helped him. Hillary is known for taking potshots at Trump in her interviews and tweets every now then - dissing his policies and his inclination towards Russia. Speaking about Trump's remarks on his efforts to revive the economy against the advice of epidemiologists amid coronavirus outbreak, Clinton said - " It's incredible that he is letting thousands of people needles suffer and die which is completely wrong. It's so not a recipe to recover the economy."
