Health department officials on Friday confirmed that two new cases of coronavirus in the United States. They believe that the virus is transmitted to people who had not traveled to other affected countries or was in close contact with any of the virus victims. In a statement, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said - “we are aware of a second possible instance of coronavirus spread in California.” Even after the official confirmation, President Donald Trump, on Friday night, tried to mask the virus outbreak globally as a liberal conspiracy intended to attack him towards the end of his first Presidential term.
The virus, which is now detected in China, Japan, South Korea, Iran, Italy, and the US is now rapidly spreading to other countries as well. However, Trump seems to show no interest in stopping the epidemic. He is continuously downplaying the dangers of coronavirus speaking against expert opinion. Speaking on the issue, President Trump said - “The Democrats are politicizing the coronavirus. They have no clue about it. They can’t even count their votes in Iowa. One of my people came up to me and said, ‘Mr. President, they tried to defeat you on Russia,’ but that did not work out too well. So they tried the impeachment hoax. Coronavirus is their new hoax to degrade my first term.”
After criticizing Democrats and the risks of coronavirus, Trump assured that the White House has planned to fight against it. However, there are more significant problems to ponder on; the stock market tumbled with losses as close to that of the global financial crisis in 2008. President Trump and the corresponding White House officials were concerned about the outbreak that they locked in Vice President Mike Pence as the in charge of the effort, removing his health secretary. Later Trump went on with his trash-talk. He said - “It’s (Coronavirus) is going to disappear one day, it’s like a miracle, it will disappear. From March it could go worse before getting better, we will see what happens. Nobody knows what happens.”
